Come see what school life was like for rural Kinderhook children at this authentic c. 1850 one-room schoolhouse, and learn about the literary lore that gave the school its name!

Admission: Adults $5; CCHS members, students and children FREE. Admission includes entry to both the Ichabod Crane Schoolhouse and Luykas Van Alen House.

Note that admission to the James Vanderpoel House and CCHS Museum & Library must be purchased separately.
