Tom Shannon, Germantown Historian will be covering highlights of the tremendously insightful diary kept by one of the publicly prominent Loyalists, William Smith, Jr. (1728-1793) from October 1776 through July 1778 when he passed the early stages of the war under self-exile, and later house arrest, at the Hermitage, formerly located on Wire Road in Livingston.
