Research Request Non Members

All research requests must be paid in advance. This includes up to 10 copies of research material and postage for response packages. Inquiries are answered in the order in which they are received. Please be patient with us – we have a small staff and there is often a 2-3 month backlog. Patron acknowledges that genealogical and historical research involves interpretation of available records and sources, many of which may be incomplete, inaccurate, inaccessible, restricted, illegible, contradictory, lost, or nonexistent. While our Researcher will use professional skill, judgment, and reasonable diligence in conducting research, no guarantee is made regarding the discovery of specific records, ancestors, relationships, historical facts, or desired outcomes. Patron understands that genealogy and archival research cannot guarantee definitive findings or successful results. The agreed fee compensates for the time, expertise, analysis, and research services performed, and fees are earned and non-refundable once research has commenced, regardless of the quantity, usefulness, or outcome of the information ultimately discovered.
